Sydney, Australia-based progressives Intrøspect has released its second EP, Midnight Sun, a 29-minute adventure through triumph, adversity, heartbreak & reverence.
The band consists of Vocalist Felicity Jayne; Guitarists Loko McDonald & Jamie McVicker; Bassist Luke Turner; and Drummer Hugo Rumore.
Midnight Sun was recorded with returning collaborator Chris Blancato (Northlane) and mixed from the UK by George Lever (Sleep Token, Loathe, Wovenwar).
The bands unique flavor of progressive metal blends post-rock and ambient influences to create a spiritual atmosphere in which the transcendent extremes of the human experience are given proper sonic treatment.
INTRØSPECT
Midnight Sun is the follow-up to September 2019’s of Intrøspects’ debut single, “Ad Astra.” The video for the track quickly gained traction, amassing more than 36,000 views. Intrøspect now hosts a dedicated fan base upwards of 7,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
