BAND NO. 1:
THE DARBIES* WINNER!!!!
THE DARBIES
The Darbies are a rock ‘n roll quartet forged in the majestic azure city-tide of Los Angeles’ west end. Like many bands before them, The Darbies are tinged with that peculiar, mythic brilliance that characterizes the musical portraiture of the teeming Los Angeles soundscape. Young, ambitious, persistent and hung with an undeniable devil-may-care-vintage-rock swagger, The Darbies are climbing to the top with a rapidity matched only by the sweltering charisma of their captivating musical presence and breathtakingly cathartic live performances. Whoever said it first, said it right: “rock n roll ain’t dead!”
BAND NO. 2:
HOLLOW INTENT
HOLLOW INTENT
Hollow Intent is a rock band with truly no defining singular genre based out of Wilmington, North Carolina. Riff heavy, high energy, and super dynamic, the band is making its presence very well known. The group hit the ground running with fresh ideas, writing and sometimes finishing songs in a single session. They’ve created their own breed of infectious, hard rock and metal and they are releasing their full length “Monster” that showcases their current single, “Welcome to the Dead.” More recently in May 2019, the group was nominated for 2019 Carolina Music Award’s Best Rock Group and Best Rock Male for Will Baker.
