ABOUT: (BRIEF BIOGRAPHY)
When several members of Cinders met attending high school in Salt Lake City, they were unaware of the adventures that would unfold to complete their group: Continuing to push the boundaries of Independent and Alternative music coming from Utah. Formed in 2015, they are attaining success across the United States, as well as continuously growing success internationally.
Cinders achievements can be correlated to their passion for their music, hard work, and a desire to create a bond between their fans and themselves like no other. With millions of streams, the success of their career is only beginning.
What would you say that your new record has to offer that is different from what is out there?
It is high energy with hopeful lyrics. It builds up emotion and is relatable. It is much heavier instrumentation wise as well as lyrically, than our previous releases. It is a new yet familiar sound you know from Cinders.
What would you say is the essence behind your band?
The essence is the feeling that we’ve all been through challenges, but we’re not alone, and if we can just keep trying than everything is going turn out fine.
How do you compete in today’s market?
As competitive as is it, we try not to bring anyone down but instead lift everyone up. There are so many talented musicians out there who are working just as hard as us. we think of the industry more as a community. We want to help them continue their career just as we want them to help us in ours!
Describe your new record. What do you want it to convey?
This album covers some of the high and low points of our lives. We feel like these songs are very relatable though. The album title, Looking Forward to Looking Back, comes from the thought of looking forward to memories. Whether they are good memories that you celebrate, or bad memories that you are happy to have in the past, they are something you can look back on. We hope that this record can be a sound track to those looking to create new memories!
Define some of the goals for the band.
With the release of this new record and the start of a new tour, our main focus is share our music with as many people in the world as we can. We want to tour the entire world playing shows for all of our fans who haven’t been able to see us yet!
