ABOUT: Long ago when the world was young, the gods of Rock and Metal met upon the peaks of Olympus. They cast their gaze into the future and saw that their creation had gone astray. It had forgotten who it was and thereby had gotten lost among the musical landscape. In their wisdom, the gods decided to birth a band which would encompass their vision of debauchery, anarchy, and virtuosity. The birthed Hail the Hatter and sent the band forth to lead Rock and Roll back to it’s fun and irreverent roots.
What would you say that your band has to offer that is different from what is out there?
Hail the Hatter is a wild rock and roll ride. Unlike the majority of other current rock bands, our goal is not to impress you with our musicality. We just want you to have a good time.
What would you say is the essence behind your band?
Our goal as a band is to lift your spirits and ensure that you have a good ol’ head banging time. We strive to show the world that virtuosity and fun need not be mutually exclusive.
How do you compete in today’s market?
Todays market is open to everyone, you just need to learn how to play the game. What has worked best for us is that we sound like no one else. We do not conform to any standard. So when you hear Hail the Hatter, love us or hate us, you never forget us.
Describe your music. What do you want it to convey?
Our music is loud, heavy, fun, anarchic. It is what we found had been missing from Rock music, and we are doing our part to bring it back.
Define some of the goals for the band.
We just want to play for as many people as we can. There is nothing like that shared energy of a live show and hanging out with the fans after.
