Glasgow, Scotland alt-rockers ALTERED SKY will be heading to DOWNLOAD this June as main support in the Doghouse Tent.
The band – consisting of Ana Nowosielska (lead vocals/keyboard); Tara Behan and Ryan Zdrojewski (guitars); Ross Archibald (bass); and Amy Blair (drums and vocals) – is currently in pre-production working on its second album, scheduled for a 2019 release.
The sophomore release will incorporate a heavier, darker sound than the band’s previous effort, WithoutWonderland. In the words of Nowosielska, the rock band is “painting stories in real life” with its infectious brand of rock.
Formed in 2010, the band has traveled along the traditional route of playing small venues up and down the country. Career highlights so far include the release of two EPs and a full-length debut album, which Kerrang! Magazine awarded “KKKK” in a stellar review. The band also completed a five-week tour of the Philippines and Japan in late-2017.

Altered Sky has shared the stage with the likes of Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Neck Deep, The Wonder Years, State Champs and The La Fontaines.
All four singles – “Bury It All,” “Waves,” “Stupid in the Dark” and “Livewire,” released from their debut album – have been aired on Kerrang Radio with videos making appearances on the likes of Kerrang and Scuzz TV regularly.
