Life's a symphony. Let it rock.
Currently finishing work on their upcoming album, Killswitch Engage have taken a break from recording to embark on a summer European tour with Iron Maiden.
“For years I’ve been known as ‘The Garage Rock Guy’ and I think this record highlights how much of a better singer and songwriter I’ve gotten to be. You can actually hear what I’m singing!”
The band heads over to Europe in mid-June for seven weeks of touring that includes dates as direct support for Iron Maiden alongside headline shows and European festival appearances.
“At the moment we are still working on recording the last guitar riffs in our studio and have started to mix the album in parallel. One thing we can tell you: it’s going to be very hard and dark!”
For the new album, the three-time GRAMMY-nominated group partnered with producer Matt Wallace, exploring both rock and pop songwriting with a renewed vigor.
Featuring duet vocals with Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke) along with pedal steel guitar from Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Ricky Medlocke
Five tracks feature guest vocalist Bjorn “Speed” Strid of Soilwork
The group will spend much of the foreseeable future on the road.
Directed by longtime collaborator Johan Carlén, this is the third music video we’ve heard from the King with AVATAR from His new record titled ‘Avatar Country.’
The album’s debut single, “Hundred Pound Hammer,” is available now across all digital streaming platforms and can be instantly downloaded as an instagrat track with all digital pre-orders.
